My approach to therapy is meeting individuals right where they are, walking with them not for them while working thru issues and difficulties of life. Helping them to move toward healing mentally, spiritually and socially. Helping them to discover the plans and purposes for their life.
I use a Person Centered, Solution Focused, CBT approach. I have over 30 years as a Registered Nurse and added the social work degree to my profession so that I could include counseling. I enjoy working with people and seeing them make progress toward a healthy mental and physical wellbeing.
Clients can expect a warm, friendly atmosphere in their sessions, where we have an opportunity to get to know each other to determine if we are a good fit to work together. There is No judgement, I like to set the tone to build trust and provide open communication.
