For more than 25 years I've helped clients deal with the stress that change often brings. The catalyst can come in many forms - the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, the diagnosis of illness, divorce, living with a chronic illness or, simply because you are at a point in life when you want to explore and direct your needs. I support the effort to improve your well-being, whether the need is short term or ongoing.
As an Elder Care Coach, I help families assess the needs of a newly diagnosed family member and the responsibilities that develop when that person is no longer able to manage without direction. I will create a blueprint of care so that the whole family, not one individual, is involved.
Support groups offer a safe environment to talk where you can learn and benefit from the encouragement of the group. When we are faced with immediate decisions or long term events that impact our lives it can be helpful to talk with others facing similar issues. Call for information.
