Hello! Ruth Roddy, here! I've spent the past 10 years devoted to the stabilization and treatment of eating disorders. I have been a therapist and in leadership at all levels of care in multiple treatment settings. I work with adolescents and adults who experience body image distress and minor to extreme eating disorder behaviors. I am passionate about women's issues (identity, motherhood, roles, relationships, expectations). My experience is that the more you lean into establishing your values and building your relationships, the less focused on your body you will become.

In addition to this focus, I also see many neurodivergent clients (specifically ADHD and autism). My approach is patient, curious and focused on individual empowerment to approach your own goals on your timeline. I also enjoy working with siblings of special needs or chronically ill individuals as I share a similar lived experience.

A little about me personally: I have been married for 14 years and have an 8 year old and a 5 year old. Whats most important to me in life is my relationships and making a positive impact in the world as best as I am able. Im endlessly curious, adore a good laugh and love this work I get to do.
