I enjoy working with people in all stages of life. One of my favorite parts of this profession is having the opportunity of spending time with people of various ethnicities, cultures, and backgrounds. I walk beside my clients as they face transitions in life. That may be the student starting graduate school or the person facing life after a loss, or a child dealing with her parent’s divorce. Sometimes we find ourselves in places we could not have imagined and need someone to offer us a hand to help us move forward.
I look at therapy as a collaboration. My goal is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for people to be seen and heard as they address aspects of life they would like to be different. I use various theories in my work. I completed a two-year residency program in Spiritually Integrated Psychotherapy and often join people on their spiritual exploration.
Working with a therapist takes courage. As an encourager, I will always work to empower the person who is seeking that inner strength that feels hard to get to by ourselves. If you are feeling like your life is overwhelming or you know you want to change but don’t know where to start, I am happy to help you begin that journey.
