I have been working in the field of mental health since 1996. I have had my own private practice since 2013. Prior to 2013, I worked in a variety of behavioral health environments where I gained invaluable experience working with diverse client populations. I typically work with adults over the age of 18. I am most comfortable treating clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance use disorders, OCD, and issues related to life transitions.
My therapeutic approach is a combination of well-researched modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Imago Relationship Therapy, and Exposure Therapy.
The most common feedback I receive from clients is that I am easy to talk to. I consider my style to be relaxed and professional. I like there to be laughter in the sessions, and there often is, without sacrificing the time we spend talking about difficult issues and feelings.
