I specialize in helping adults heal from eating disorders and trauma, together, while rebuilding trust with their bodies and themselves. Many of the people I work with feel exhausted by painful cycles with food and emotional overwhelm. They may be helpers or professional that are used to caring for others and are struggling quietly themselves They may understand their patterns intellectually yet still feel stuck in them. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you are experiencing, and begin moving toward recovery with compassion and support.
Eating disorders and trauma are often deeply interconnected. Patterns around food, control, or body image can develop as ways of coping with overwhelming experiences, emotional pain, or environments that did not feel safe. I take an integrated, trauma-informed approach that supports both eating disorder recovery and nervous system healing.
My style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful, compassionate with a touch of gentle sass. I draw from several therapeutic approaches and tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals. Recovery is not about perfection or forcing change. It is about developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself and creating new ways of moving through the world.
