Ruth Cohen Kubicek provides an empathic, supportive and non-judgmental place for you to come to regroup, heal and grow. When hard times happen, and you feel vulnerable or fragile, it is often difficult to think and sort out emotions and thoughts. Taking the step to enter therapy takes courage. Ruth will validate you, and be with you on this journey to help you increase your awareness, work through problems and find peace.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology, and two Masters Degrees in Social Work and Educational Counseling from Washington University. She also completed training at the Advanced Psychodynamic Program, and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and a yoga teacher.
Please join me for yoga at the Neiber Center at the Edwardsville YMCA on Tuesday and Thursday at 8;30 AM, and Saturday at 10:30 AM.

Overcoming Overeating Support Group
A support group for women who are struggling with the endless battle of trying to lose weight and then gaining it back. This group will help you to understand your relationship with food and yourself in a in a new way, by exploring and working through the issues that cause overeating, and mindfulness and coping skills techniques to make peace with your body.
