About
I believe that therapy is a fresh start through change and self discovery. As a school counselor for 28 years, I saw the importance of addressing the social and emotional needs of individuals so they can be successful . I have expertise in mid-life issues, conflict management, stress reduction, divorce/ blended families and parenting. I am equipped with tools to empower you to make changes in your life, by providing you with open communication and trust. I often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy to challenge irrational thinking and start you on the road to meaningful change.
I have extensive experience working in the areas of parenting, co-parenting, blended families, and single parenting. I have experience working with teens, couples and individuals. I also have training in CBT, conflict management skills, & effective communication.
I am an independent counselor working with Dr. G. David Heatherly, Ph.D. and 3 other seasoned therapists. Our office is comfortable and friendly with ample parking. I look forward to seeing you at 707 East Main St. in downtown Spartanburg. I am available by appointment (10AM- 7PM) Monday-Friday.
