I work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, panic, trauma-related stress, depression, the challenges that come with major life changes, and other concerns that bring people to therapy. My approach is thoughtful, practical, and informed by neuroscience-based counseling, which helps make sense of how the brain and nervous system shape emotions and behavior. I focus on creating a steady, non-judgmental atmosphere where you can better understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop changes that feel realistic, meaningful, and sustainable.
Recognizing that each client is unique, I tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. Depending on what is most helpful to you, we may use elements from a variety of evidence-based modalities.
My clinical training emphasized a neurocounseling framework, which involves understanding the brain’s role in our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Exploring the link between brain functioning and patterns that may feel distressing or difficult offers us a noninvasive path toward feeling and functioning better. Many clients find that understanding the physiological basis of their symptoms—such as anxiety or trauma responses—brings genuine relief, renewed hope, and a path toward meaningful change.
