I use an empathic, nonjudgemental, and strengths-based approach to therapy with my clients. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm, disordered eating behaviors, and relationship difficulties. My approach is collaborative, so that we can work together to reach your goals that are most important to you. Our individual sessions may include homework to increase practice with skills/strategies.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified DBT Therapist through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification (10+ years of DBT experience). I have extensive experience with utilizing evidence-based approaches including CBT, PE, ACT and ERP. I have years of experience as both an individual therapist and a skills group facilitator.
Working with a therapist can be both relieving and scary/vulnerable. Therefore, choosing one that is the "right fit" is super important. If you'd like to see if we'd be a good fit, please feel free to reach out to me to chat! I would love to potentially work together to help you live a life that you find meaningful and enjoyable.
