Groups
Teen DBT class
Teen DBT class follows the format of the Adult class with adaptations appropriate for the teens enrolled in the class and a focus on healthy relationships. Parents attend the skills classes and learn skills to reinforce at home. Modules include Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Distress Tolerance, Emotional Regulation and Walking the Middle Path. Our Comprehensive DBT program includes weekly individual sessions with a DBT therapist, weekly skills class, between-session phone coaching, and parent support.

Our DBT classes are a component of our Comprehensive DBT program that includes weekly individual sessions with a DBT therapist and between-session phone coaching. The classes teach skills to manage moods, tolerate discomfort, and have more effective and fulfilling relationships. Learning Mindfulness and making this a daily practice is a fundamental component of the program. Parents of teens in our programs are taught DBT skills to reinforce at home. You can access our video sessions from anywhere in IL or WI.

Group is open to anyone who wants to learn more about how to manage living with chronic illness and/or chronic pain. 1. Find connection with others with shared experiences. 2. Learn to cope with chronic illness and/or pain (including living with invisible illness or disability). 3. Learn ways to decrease the body's responses to gain better control and greater comfort. 4.
