I believe that all people have the ability to growth and adapt with the right support. I feel that my role as a therapist is to provide a safe space for my clients to process their struggles, help them understand patterns and facilitate them in their journey of change through evidence based interventions. My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative, and my goal is for clients to leave therapy with ample techniques and skills in their toolboxes that they can use throughout their lives.

Our clients represent many different cultural, ethnic and social backgrounds. We treat addictions, mental health, and severe and persistent mental health disorders. Life transitions sometimes need some therapeutic support; divorce, breakups, new jobs, moving to a new area, whatever changes are happening. We serve families, groups, individuals, children, teens, adults and older adults.

I enjoy working with adults and couples in helping them pursue physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual wholeness. I have helped many people struggling with depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, psychological trauma, personality problems, and spiritual struggles. In my work with individual clients, I primarily use relational psychodynamic psychotherapy—an effective contemporary therapeutic approach rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition. The term psychodynamic reflects an appreciation for the complexity of the human mind and the fact that there are “dynamics” outside our immediate awareness that impact our emotions.

Passionate about catering the best support to each individual, I am dedicated to staying at the forefront of education and training in this constantly developing field. My career started in Early Childhood Education, where my passion for working with young children and their families directed me to grow expertise into additional areas by pursuing and excelling in the Oakland University Counseling Master's program. As a Counselor for the Oakland County Sheriff's Department, I was an acting subject matter expert for substance abuse, depressive and suicidal ideation, and schizoaffective disorders.

Tatyana Fleysher is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Michigan who has been practicing since 2011. Tatyana is a social worker at heart and is here to help. She feels connected to people and is passionate about what she does. Ever since she was a little girl, Tatyana had a niche for helping people. She is supportive, insightful, and empathetic. Outside of work, Tatyana enjoys kayaking, paddle-boarding, traveling, the great outdoors, and animals.

Maria is dedicated to staying at the forefront of education in the constantly developing field of mental health. Maria started her career started in early childhood education, where her passion for working with children and families directed her to grow expertise in other areas. Then, as a counselor for the incarcerated population working for the Oakland Sheriff's Department, she was an acting subject matter expert for violence, substance abuse, impulse control, depressive and suicidal ideation, and schizoaffective disorders. Maria received a Bachelor's in Psychology from UC Davis and Master's in Counseling from Oakland University.
