I am a therapist with 23 years of experience. I provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy. I am experienced in providing therapy to older children, adolescents, and their families in addition to counseling adults. I have been helping clients with serious behavioral and emotional challenges as well as well-functioning clients. I have worked with clients with adoption and acculturation challenges. I have background in outpatient psychotherapy, treatment foster care, and residential treatment. I like to help people overcome adversity and achieve their best potential.

I specialize in integrative psychotherapy for a broad spectrum of individuals who experience anxiety, depression, and life changing events that cause emotional discomfort, fear, or mourning. My goal is to educate and empower my clients to take charge of their lives. I believe that human nature is at its best when people chose to view themselves positively, therefore I work together with clients as they recognize their emotions, and how these emotions arise in response to certain life events.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent 12 years working as a trauma-informed massage therapist, teacher and mentor in the bodywork community.

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with more than a decade of experience in mental health and substance abuse field. I have experience with wide range of treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, EFT, MI, yoga for trauma, biofeedback, experiential therapy (art, music, movement). My clinical focus has been in the areas of trauma treatment, addiction, and relationships. I am passionate about applying holistic approach to mental health and wellness. I meet my clients where they are and help them to move to a better place in their lives using client-centered approach.
