About
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 19 years of experience specializing in the treatment of Panic Attacks, OCD, Generalized Anxiety, and ADHD using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have worked in a psychiatric hospital, outpatient mental health clinics, college counseling centers, a neurofeedback clinic, and published a book on Panic Attacks "Attacking Panic: The Power To Be Calm." I am licensed to practice in Virginia and in California. In my current work I have been collaboratively working with clients on issues related to OCD, major life adjustments, and identity exploration. I also provide in-person psychological testing.
I am experienced in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy. CBT helps identify and correct unhelpful thoughts and/or behaviors that cause emotional distress and interfere with living a satisfying and productive life. Family Systems Therapy helps to reduce family conflict, improve communication, and improve child behavioral issues.
