Relationship challenges, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and trauma are common issues I work with in adults. I specialize in marital/partnership challenges (this includes non-traditional partnerships) . I primarily work somatically, other orientations I use are: parts work (IFS), trauma reprocessing, and psychoanalysis. Are your past experiences impacting your present? I help my clients identify these traumas, and learn healthier coping mechanisms so they can alleviate their stress and/or PTSD.
Mindfulness-Based Somatic Psychotherapy is my core approach. As I see it, verbal dialogue is just one way of communicating, I observe the “body's way of talking" to gain information about my clients. I specialize in couples, polyamory and ENM (ethical non-monogamy).
I value being down to earth and relatable. I'm imperfect with my own struggles, and also, I've taken a honest look at myself and taken steps to heal.
