My passion is to provide clients with a caring, compassionate and transparent approach to healing from deep losses/grief, traumatic experiences / PTSD and other issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions and relationship issues. My practice approach is rooted in various approaches including EMDR, ACT, CBT, psychodynamic and spiritual interventions to assist with healing, decision-making, and finding new and more hope-filled perspectives in life. I believe in exploring issues honestly and openly with my clients. I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and in journeying with my clients toward healing and hope.
My primary specialties focus on the treatment of loss and grief issues, traumatic grief / traumatic losses and sudden losses, past trauma and abuse (single traumatic events and chronic issues), spiritual and faith-related concerns, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, stress-related issues, end-of-life issues, relationship concerns and life transitions.
I offer some flexible evening appointments, in-person and via telehealth, convenient for clients who find it difficult to leave work during the day. I offer fully bilingual counseling services (Spanish/English).
