Oftentimes we minimize our own experiences and believe we are not worthy of someone else’s time and energy, limiting our capacity in relationships. I sincerely believe all individuals have the capacity for authenticity, mutuality, and growth-producing connections. These experiences can flourish by cultivating a relationship that is safe, compassionate, and empowering. It is my hope to enrich those feelings within counseling to take beyond the room. Counseling can help you understand the meaning you make of experiences, past and present, in your life and engage in a deeper relationship with yourself and others.
I hold a Masters of Science in Counseling from Montana State University. I work with adolescents and adults through use of Relational Cultural Therapy, Self-Compassion, and components of mindfulness. Through collaboration, I offer individuals an opportunity to help make sense of their presenting concerns and lived experience.
I offer a non-judgmental, warm, and compassionate space in which ALL individuals are welcomed to navigate through the peaks and valleys of the human experience. If you're hesitant to begin the journey, I invite you to welcome and move toward the discomfort of the unknown to more deeply know yourself.
