Currently accepting new clients for telehealth. I also offer community therapy in Howard County, Maryland. I support minoritized individuals in addressing workplace discrimination and microaggressions, empowering them to cope and self-advocate. My clients often navigate major life transitions, including job loss, perinatal loss, divorce, blended families, or parenting neurodivergent children. I also specialize in aging-related care, focusing on retirement, legacy planning, dementia, and age-related mental health. I aim to help clients build resilience, find empowerment, and redefine purpose after life’s changes.
My therapeutic approach includes a range of evidence-based therapies such as Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapyn, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy , Existential Therapy, among others. I am also currently training to offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma recovery
I provide individual and family counseling through both in-person and teletherapy sessions. To ensure accessibility, I offer services in English and Swahili, creating a warm and supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions.
