Trauma, grief, stress, and life transitions significantly impact our lives and functioning. If unaddressed, these challenges can feel unmanageable. They can cause you to feel hopeless, misunderstood, ashamed, and isolated. They can cause you to feel trapped in patterns of emotions, thoughts, and behaviors, patterns you adapted to cope and survive, but which may no longer serve you. I believe all humans have an immense capacity to heal and grow. I also know that sometimes we get stuck and can benefit from some extra support. If you are feeling stuck, I am here to support you with finding your way out.
My approach is to establish a safe, trusting environment and provide empathy, authenticity, and non-judgment. I meet you where you are and collaborate with you, moving at your pace. Together we will identify your goals, process your challenges, and cultivate your strengths, tools, and resources, so you feel more fully yourself and in control of your life.
Starting therapy takes vulnerability and courage, and finding the right therapist is not easy. That being said, therapy can be a powerful and deeply rewarding adventure. Just showing up is a valuable first step. Let’s connect to see if my style is a good fit for you, and to begin your journey towards healing and overall improved well-being!
