I am a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) practicing in the Los Angeles area and now across California via telehealth. For more than a decade, I have supported a wide range of clients and their families across various communities. I combine my work with being a Clinical Trainer at the Prevention Center of Excellence at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Each person is the expert in their own life, and therapy services are always client-centered and led. However, since therapy is interactive and many clients do benefit from feedback, I use my training and experience to help clients think deeply to help build awareness of their feelings, develop coping strategies, and foster resilience.
As a bilingual therapist, I can ensure effective communication in both Spanish and English. To ensure my clients feel helped and that their strengths are valued in sessions, I work gently to create a comfortable, inclusive environment and I blend compassion with evidence-based approaches.
