In today’s everchanging world, the need for mental health support is vital to understanding yourself and to feel a sense of belonging and purpose. I believe taking a more holistic approach rather than focusing on one aspect of your life is key. Before becoming a therapist, I spent 32 years as an actor, director, and writer in the performing arts. This experience has allowed me a unique understanding of human beings and how personalities are formed and expressed through relationships. Most importantly, I have learned to build rapport with others which is a vital aspect of therapy.
I help guide patients challenged by depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues through a curious, compassionate, collaborative and integrative approach using cognitive behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, attachment-based therapy, evidence based trauma therapies, EMDR and other proven modalities.
In session, patients will learn to use their strengths and gain the knowledge and skills to identify and modify the negative beliefs they hold about themselves and learn to thrive rather than survive. Let’s explore your challenges together so that you can take flight!
