Life can often feel like an uphill battle, struggling to meet the many demands before us that can easily drain our energy and our joy. I have witnessed firsthand in both my professional and my personal life the ways in which life struggles can affect our mental health, and how mental health struggles can impact our ability to manage daily stressors and relationships. Seeking therapy can be a difficult step to take. I see therapy as a tool, among many, to support and create the change you desire for your life. I love guiding my clients as they learn to highlight their strengths, welcome new perspectives, and learn new ways to cope.
I have over 10 years of experience working with adults & adolescence struggling with mental illness, daily life stressors, life transitions, multicultural issues, self-esteem, and trauma. I enjoy working with diverse populations, including Arab-Americans & those experiencing marginalization. I also work with couples to help navigate relationship challenges.
I believe that problems do not exist within a vacuum, and view my clients as having unique and valid stories that shape who they are and what they are experiencing.
