As an Iranian American therapist and daughter of immigrants, I understand what it’s like to grow up between many cultures. Holding multiple cultural expectations can sometimes feel like standing in different worlds at once. My lived experiences navigating identity, belonging, sexuality, and culture deeply shape the way I show up as a therapist.
I specialize in supporting children of immigrants, QTBIPOC, and multicultural folks. My hope is to offer a safe place to explore your identity and honor where you come from while also making space for who you’re becoming.
My approach incorporates elements of ACT, CBT, motivational Interviewing, art, mindfulness and somatic based healing. I use these frameworks flexibly, centering your lived experience and whatever feels most supportive in the moment. Whether we’re talking about family boundaries, identity, values, anxiety, or fear, I’ll meet you where you are with intention.
I strive to honor cultural identity, maintain political awareness, and actively push back against systemic injustice. I am deeply committed to continuing my own unlearning of the colonial and oppressive systems that have shaped our stories.
