Dr. Wilensky is a clinical psychologist and LifeStance Health Clinical Manager. He conducts psychotherapy (ages 13 through geriatric), psychological/neuropsychological testing (ages six through geriatric), and forensic evaluations (juvenile and adult). He also supervises pre-doctoral interns and postdoctoral residents. His psychotherapy integrates patient-centered, cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and experiential approaches (clinical hypnosis, gestalt, mindfulness) to help patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, psychotic disorders, and life-transition concerns.
His psychological testing can help determine differential diagnosis and guide treatment planning for cognitive-related issues (intelligence, attention, memory) and emotion/personality-related concerns along with specialized issues including pre-surgical assessment and disability determination.
His forensic evaluations can help determine criminal responsibility, competence, violence risk, and treatment needs. Dr. Wilensky also evaluates asylum applicants, many on a pro-bono basis, who have a documented history of torture or other forms of oppression in their home countries.
