I work with people struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment to life changes, phobia, previous trauma, social difficulties, guilt and navigating neurodiversity. Others use therapy as a safe place to learn about themselves. As a sex therapist I work with issues such as inability to orgasm, unsatisfactory erectile functioning, or ejaculation timing; low libido (desire), libido mismatches; painful intercourse; sexual changes due to aging, dementia, and medical condition. Sex therapy is talk therapy focusing on your sexual concerns, behaviors, and history. There is no nudity or sexual contact during a sex therapy session.
I have been working as a psychotherapist for over 20 years, and believe my job is to help you lower your distress and improve your life-satisfaction. We will discuss your concerns, and how they are interfering with your life. Using an integrative approach I collaborate with clients, while using my experience and training to co-create a plan for treatment.
I believe human beings have intrinsic value, and we are all doing the best we can to create a meaningful life. We all want to feel safe and heard. My approach is conversational and frequently lighthearted. I have also graduated as a Holistic Sex Therapist. My practice is sex-positive, LGBTQQI+ welcoming; and affirms alternate sexualities.
