Thank you for reaching out to Insightful Mind Counseling Services, LLC. My theory base is Person Centered and as a Rogerian therapist I hopefully provide the client an environment to explore their own thoughts and feelings which allows you to decide for yourself how to bring about positive change. I am an LGBTIQ+ Affirmative therapist; affirmative therapy is a type of psychotherapy used to validate and advocate for the needs of all sexual and all gender minority clients.
Being a queer (gay) cis white male, I can appreciate the importance of finding a provider who is sensitive to a similar lived experience and point of view. I strive to provide a confidential space were all clients—regardless of sexuality, gender identity, or personal background—feel safe.
