Roxana is a bilingual, Latinx clinician with 23 years in mental health & health care settings, working with diverse cultures/races within the South Florida area. She is Certified in EMDR for trauma-informed care with individuals & couples.
She has worked long-term with military & first responders, pre-marital couples, relationship issues, phobias, somatic issues, chronic health conditions, substance abuse & grief/loss. She is Certified in EMDR, SYMBIS certified for couples & has received Gottman Level 2 Training for couples. She can integrate faith-based and Christian counseling, upon request.
She believes in being client-led, culturally sensitive, and empathetic, and understands how day-to-day pressures in life create difficulty coping with stressors, causing strained relationships, difficulty in marriage, and struggles in parenting.
