With over 13 years of post-graduate experience, I provide compassionate, culturally sensitive therapy for children, adults, and older adults. I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including government agencies, and specialize in areas such as foster care/adoption, PTSD, trauma, chronic pain, parenting, crisis intervention, addiction, and grief and loss.
In therapy, we’ll build on your strengths and focus on improving your overall well-being. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and solution-focused. I also incorporate mindfulness, grounding techniques, deep breathing, and relaxation skills to help decrease the intensity of symptoms.
Clients can expect a supportive and nonjudgmental space. In our first session, I’ll complete a thorough assessment to understand the severity and frequency of your symptoms, clarify your goals, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
