My main areas of treatment are helping individuals and couples dealing with emotional struggles (depression, anxiety, anger, grief, fear, confusion, jealousy, negativity); Compulsive behaviors/addictions (love addiction, sex addiction, codependency issues, impulsive behaviors); and social issues (assertiveness, communication, bullying, teen issues, self-esteem, peer pressure/external validation, and forgiveness).
I also specialize in issues unique to relationships such as: break-up recovery, relationship recovery, intimacy, infidelity, trust, communication, conflict resolution, and pre-marital and pre-divorce sessions. My approach to therapy is from a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), solution- focused perspective where the main goal is to restore optimal functioning.
