I earned my master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and my undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park.
My primary area of expertise is working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Additionally, I specialize in helping those struggling with major depression disorder, postpartum depression, PTSD, anxiety, self-esteem and self-image issues, and stress management.
In my practice, I utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT, motivational interviewing, psychodynamic approaches, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and solution-focused approaches.
