Therapy is most meaningful when you have a clear understanding of the work being done, and can see how a specific approach aligns with your values and goals. If I can count on you to teach me about yourself, about what you feel, and what you're hoping for, you can count on me to listen, and to offer options for how we can pursue your goals. Together, we will aim to build a process that works, and move at a mutually agreed upon pace and direction toward clarity, understanding, and change.
My job is to help us pick strategies that are both effective and personally meaningful. I've seen that combination facilitate profound change in people of all ages and backgrounds, in settings including state prisons, outpatient rehabs, Ivy League schools, in person or online. Wherever you're at, change is possible if you're willing to put in the work.
I'm a Certified Complex Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), trained in EMDR and EAET, with a background in treatment of substance use disorders, recent and complex trauma, grief/loss, and exploration of identity and personal meaning. I'd love to learn about your goals, and talk through how we could pursue them together. Call or email any time.
