About
I am a philosophical counselor who has been in private practice for over 23 years. I do not diagnose mental illnesses, nor do I prescribe medication. What I can do is help you with a wide range of issues that we all deal with: relationships, jobs, moral dilemmas, personal identity, love, difficult choices, transitions, addictions, self-care, spiritual/metaphysical questions, questions surrounding the exigencies of everyday living. A conversation is a good way to help you develop your own voice, your own inner resolve and sense of self. The 2,500 history of philosophy can provide invaluable insights as you journey through life.
Whatever problem you might be having, you are not alone. We all suffer from existential problems of living, and the first step is to talk about whatever it is that you think is going on. A conversation with a philosophical counselor can help bring focus and clarity. I don't have a magic wand, but I will listen with care and empathy.
Since it is important to find a good fit before you commit yourself to any kind of counseling, I invite you to call for a free initial phone consultation.
