I'm Roslyn Pursley a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I have been practicing for 16 years. I approach people's care from a trauma-sensitive and person-centered approach. I believe that healing comes from the relationship of trust built between the client and the therapist. Your lived experience and satisfaction in reaching your goals is paramount to achieving your therapy goals.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and also in Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories. I'm also trained in couples therapy and men's and women's health issues.
The first session is an intake session where we will get to know each other. I'll ask about important events in your life, your relationships with family and the reason you are coming in. From there we will assess your situation and decide how to work together and what treatment approach is best for you.
