I work from a trauma and somatic lens to support folks step into a more integrated and full version of themselves. This work inevitably involves trauma and this wisdom our body used to protect itself. With 10 years in refugee mental health, I have deep experience with "big" trauma like war, migration, assault and carceral system involvement. As a somatic abolitionist nonbinary individual, I also work knowing the trauma of living in cisheteronormative racial capitalism.
As a somatic and trauma therapist and supervisor, I integrated somatics, EMDR and other theories. I offer an open heart and meaningful connection. I believe we heal through relationships and that requires that I also show up in my fullness. I have been told I have a warm and open presence with a lovingly direct approach that keeps clients accountable.
