About
Accepting new clients! - Feeling overwhelmed at the prospect of starting therapy? As your therapist I hope to make it easier by bringing nonjudgmental curiosity, empathy, and humor to your healing process. Therapy should prioritize earning your trust and creating a space where you can safely explore your own emotions. I aim to guide individuals through processing uncomfortable emotions, disruptive thoughts, and negative patterns at a pace that is decided together. When necessary, I can take a more practical approach that infuses mental health education and effective coping strategies if you prefer more structure. I follow your lead!
I graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with my Master of Social work and have since become a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). In previous positions, I worked with individuals struggling to manage chronic addiction and mental illness. I currently work at an outpatient clinic, Leading by Example LLC, in East Baltimore.
I truly believe all individuals are the expert on their own lived experience and that therapy is a collaborative process. It is of utmost importance to me that I meet all clients where they are. I would be honored to join you on your journey to building a more authentic and fulfilling life!
