My name is Rosemary Parker, I have a Master of Arts in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, and I am Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. My approach to therapy is relationally based, meaning we work collaboratively to understand how to meet your specific needs. As a Christ follower, I aim to help minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of believers and individuals in the community. Over the years, my passion has been cultivated to help treat anxiety disorders including Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Trauma. Outside of anxiety disorders,
I like to combine mindfulness practices, exposure, and response prevention techniques, as well as dialectical behavioral therapy. When requested, I love to incorporate biblical principles and practices into sessions.
Naturally, I am quiet and introspectively orientated, which consequently creates an open and warm environment for self-exploration and open communication. Working with me is like talking with a compassionate confidant. A person who demonstrates acceptance, validation, and objectivity.
