My goal is to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment to help create comfort when discussing uncomfortable topics. I encourage my clients to allow time for the therapeutic process and find a healthy balance.
I incorporate a variety of tools to assist in the best therapeutic process: mindfulness, guided imagery, art therapy are a few techniques that clients have found quite helpful. Although I feel it's my job to sometimes challenge clients, I also understand that even making the decision to seek help is a challenge within itself.
