Sometimes we face difficult times in life and we become unhappy, worried, fearful and confused. You might feel depressed, anxious, stressed, tired or experienced a trauma or a loss. I am here to guide and support you through these difficult times with compassion, best practices and care. You can expect to build a therapeutic relationship that is based on trust and warmth. My approach is gentle in that it goes at your pace while guiding you with methods that have been shown to work. Together, we will explore effective ways to lessen the burden of negative feelings, find peace and learn ways to increase your life satisfaction.

My approach goes beyond typical talk therapy. I offer evidence based methods such as Eye-Movement-Desensitization-Reprocessing (EMDR) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to address a wide range of issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety and personal growth. I am a certified EMDR therapist as well as a member of the MI Network of Trainers, INC.

The foundation of all my work is Humanistic which means that I show up with the belief that people are human first with pearls of wisdom such as strengths, values and skills and life experience that can help with finding relief. I believe that true partnership is essential for therapy to be successful and everyone has potential to change and grow.
