I have experienced much success and fulfillment in working with individual adolescents and adults with concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, and more. I have discovered a particular passion in working with men. I create an individualized treatment plan for each client, which often includes modalities such as EMDR, ego state therapy, polyvagal theory, CBT, and more. I strive to allow the Holy Spirit to work through me during every counseling session and love incorporating my Christian faith into treatment, but I also welcome clients of no faith or of differing faith backgrounds.
After over 15 years of clinical experience, I have decided to open my own teletherapy counseling practice, Extending Grace Counseling LLC. I am certified in EMDR, TFCBT and TEAM-CBT, with extensive training in many other modalities. I felt called by God to this career and love being used for His purpose.
I named my practice Extending Grace Counseling LLC because I understand, firsthand, that everyone could use more grace. I look forward to extending God's grace to promote healing. Clients have described me as approachable, down-to-earth, warm, compassionate, and easy-to-talk-to, a great setting for first-time or apprehensive clients.
