About
Clients who seek my services come with a desire to create positive change in their lives. They may be seeking help for themselves, their child or their family. Their goals can include finding relief of unnecessary stress and suffering, increasing awareness and breaking unhealthy patterns of behavior, developing the ability to create and sustain healthy and intimate relationships and/or obtaining relief from psychological pain, trauma and loss. Psychotherapy can help people heal from past experiences in order to develop the awareness and the skills necessary to handle challenging situations in the present.
I work with adults, children, families and couples with a wide range of mental health issues including addiction. I utilize techniques which engages addicted client and concerned significant others in the process of recovery. I also specialize in women's health issues, and have extensive experience in HIV/AIDS.
