I will listen to you and work to create a safe environment for meaningful connection. Talking things out with a caring professional -- when you are ready -- can help clarify issues and provide needed nonjudgmental support. When we feel seen and emotionally supported, we tend to feel more hopeful about ourselves, and more connected with others and with the world. Habits can change. Relationships can blossom.
I encourage curiosity, insight, and new skills. Building and sustaining a therapeutic relationship requires individualized pacing: together we'll set the frequency of sessions and scope of discussion. I have 30+ years helping in legal, medical, educational, and employment settings. Note: I do not offer telehealth, you must come to my office for sessions.
My ground floor office is in the SeaTowne Shopping complex on Highway 101 in Newport near Fred Meyers. The person wanting therapy needs to call me, not have a friend or family member call, as I need to screen you directly for possible conflicts.
