My name is Rosalie Sanders, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Idaho working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents/college aged individuals and specialize in anxiety, stress, trauma, and family dynamics using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Adlerian Therapy to assist young people in finding their balance in life and making the day-to-day more manageable.
My approach to goal setting with clients is a collaborative and adaptive process. After establishing rapport, together we explore and clarify client aspirations, identifying meaningful objectives. We develop a plan, assess progress, celebrate successes and make adjustments as needed, ensuring client remains empowered and motivated throughout their journey.
What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend time talking about your life historically and what has brought you to counseling. I will be asking clarifying questions to try to better understand your situation. I hope to help us both see if we are a good fit and then begin to establish rapport and a direction for our time together.
