Groups
Childhood Trauma Recovery Group
When childhood abuse, neglect, and trauma persist throughout adulthood, we are unable to manifest our best selves. We revert to our "Inner Child" when triggered, projecting unfinished work from the past onto people in the present. This wreaks havoc with our relationships, and can cause feelings of helplessness, frustration, anger, and sadness. It is not until we address the root causes of these dynamics that our Adult can take charge. In this group we will do just that: fully process moments from the past and engage in experiential work that will allow us to embody our best Adult selves at long last.

Dating & Relationship Support Group
This group will explore why, as trauma survivors, we tend to choose the partners that we do and repeat cycles that mirror patterns in our family systems. The group will also act as a support network for those who have had difficult experiences dating or in relationships, with a warm welcome to LGBTQI+ individuals and those in non-traditional relationship structures. Theoretical orientations include Psychodynamic & Attachment theories, Inner Child work, and Internal Family Systems. The group will meet online weekly for 6 months. Each session will last 90 minutes and the cost is $70 per session, with insurance billing available.

Healing in a Hurting World
We will explore the tension that many are feeling right now between prioritizing themselves and being of service to others. We will look at this tension from a "both/and" perspective: that taking care of oneself and others are not mutually exclusive, and being an informed citizen comprises no single form. We will explore what it means to stay engaged in the current political sphere – a trauma unto itself – while simultaneously healing one's own personal trauma history. The group will also serve as a space to receive support around any challenges participants may have experienced in social justice spaces.
