Children are my area of specialty and I have served Oklahoma City children and parents in a variety of roles through the years. As a Professional Counselor I'm committed to providing individualized services that are client centered and trauma informed. Most importantly, I understand problems experienced by a family member effects all or some members of the family therefore effecting the family system or unit. Families that seek counseling are better prepared than those families that see the problem as existing within one individual.
Children and families gain communication skills, address behavioral concerns, and develop personal goals. MS in Rehab Counseling & 15 yrs. experience as a Child Development Associate prepared me to understand developmental milestones that children are attempting to master and the mental health issues that can arise from early trauma, abuse, and neglect.
