As a licensed clinical psychologist, I work with adults (18+) who are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and interpersonal conflict. While therapy is highly individualized, I aim to offer a reflective and confidential space where you may understand your experience, recognize influences, and explore the ways in which you relate to yourself and others. My therapeutic approach is informed by relational psychoanalytic theory and aims to support your ability to identify and modulate emotional states, recognize interpersonal and behavioral patterns, and develop more effective coping skills.
Areas of specialization include mood and anxiety disorders, and couples psychotherapy. I am interested in the impact of conflict and loss on identity and functioning, and can be helpful to individuals and couples undergoing life transitions including: adjustment to college, career entry, relocation, marriage, pregnancy, parenting, divorce, and bereavement.
I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University, and completed internship and post-doctoral training at The Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Areas of advanced training include Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Latina/o Mental Health, and Dialogue Therapy. I am fluent in Spanish and offer psychotherapy and consultation services.
