Hi there, my name is Rosa King. I'm a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and I primarily work with adults who needs assistance with their anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, career problems, etc. My approach to therapy is really hands-on. I use psychoeducation in treatment so clients can understand and apply coping skills outside of therapy. My clientele typically consists of 18+ adults who are diagnosed with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, bipolar disorder, ADHD, relationship issues, emotional childhood trauma, etc.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy to help clients who struggle with irrational thoughts, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, etc. Dialectic behavioral therapy to help clients emotionally regulate, mindfulness, distress tolerance, etc. Solution focused to help client solve issues and identify triggers.
I am flexible with my approach to therapy (direct or indirect). Working with me will feel like you're talking to a friend. I like my clients to feel comfortable.
