Are you seeking change, and not sure where to start? Perhaps you are seeking more harmony and support while navigating life's challenges? Learning new coping skills & self-regulation strategies, addressing unresolved trauma, examining and unlearning maladaptive patterns, and experimenting with new ways of being are achievable goals! I enjoy working with people in the helping professions, as well as women, N.B., trans, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, and queer identified folx :)
Currently waitlisting folks w/ Pacific Source Commercial insurance, I anticipate being in-network by end of year, hopefully sooner!
I offer client-centered, compassionate, trauma-informed therapy, anchored in relational and somatic theory. I often utilize interventions and psychoeducation from Polyvagal Theory, Somatic and Attachment Focused therapies, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, ecopsychology, and play therapy. I also have a therapy dog for animal-assisted therapy.
We live in challenging times; experiencing depression, anxiety, or other mental health issues is a normal, even healthy, response to the stressors and difficulties of life. Sometimes outside help is useful in achieving change and relief; I welcome a conversation to see if we may be a good fit to work together.
