As a professor for masters/doctoral students, and as a state-approved supervisor for pre-licensed therapists, Dr. Porshia's experience and training allows her to connect with a variety of clients' needs. Primary, her practice focuses on high conflict couples or families that may have been to therapists prior with no success or struggle to believe in therapy at all. Clients may come from complex backgrounds, may have blended homes, and/or intercultural aspect to their relationships. Couples find new ways of thinking, communication and relating to one another. In a safe, supportive space, you’ll process your breakup, reconnect with your worth, and create a powerful new beginning. Through guided topics, real conversations, and healing practices, you’ll move from heartbreak to wholeness. This group holds 10 spots and is an in-person group therapy. Insurance is accepted.
