Our small group of providers specialize in helping to uncover and empower authentic selves. Trans and Neuro-divergent competent trauma support to sort through what life has thrown your way! It can be overwhelming to sort through alone and often anxiety, depression, gender, relationships, and interpersonal trauma experiences are addressed when the time is right! The space we create together can foster internal communication between the different 'parts' of yourself to heal, grow, thrive, and find peaceful confidence. Explore together in the private safe space we build together or can invite loved ones to join at times.

Establishing Rooted Therapy allowed our founder to specialize and assure a gender-inclusive office. We enjoy trans & LGB issues, adolescent/young adult issues, life transitions, and healing from impactful life experiences. Jen serves as the Clinical Director at Rooted Therapy and 3 years on the Executive Board of the Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group.

Our providers are neuro-informed and specialized for working with gender identity, trauma, neurodiversity and development across the lifespan. Teletherapy offerings available for NC/SC . Reaching out can often be the hardest, but most empowering, step. Jen would be happy to personally chat about your unique story and how to match you with an RT therapist.

Embodying Safety - Foundations

Embodying Safety Foundations led by Noah Granade is a 6-week psychotherapy group divided between educational components and personal application of material. Participants will learn about the interplay between our Attachment and Nervous systems, and the impacts of trauma, neuro-diversity, and oppression on these systems. Participants will engage in self-reflective activities with opportunities to share and connect with group members, but interpersonal experiential activities are reserved for Level 2. The primary goals of Level 1 are to gain a nuanced understanding of embodiment and wellness, potential barriers to accessing safe embodiment, and tap personal applications of these principles.
