Many of the people that we work with come for help uncovering and empowering their authentic selves. We often don't realize how deeply we are shaped over time by our social experiences and it can be overwhelming to sort through alone. Along the way, we often address anxiety, depression, gender, relationships, and interpersonal trauma experiences. The space we create together is aimed to foster internal communication between the different 'parts' of yourself in order to heal, grow, thrive, and find peace and confidence. We can explore together in the private safe space we build together or can invite loved ones to join at times.
Establishing Rooted Therapy allowed me to specialize and assure a gender-inclusive office. I enjoy trans & LGB issues, adolescent/young adult issues, life transitions, and healing from impactful life experiences. Jen serves as the Clinical Director at Rooted Therapy and on the Executive Board of the Charlotte Transgender Healthcare Group.
Jen's background is neuro-informed and specialized for working with gender identity, trauma, neurodiversity and development across the lifespan. Teletherapy offerings available for NC. Reaching out can often be the hardest, but most empowering, step. Jen would be happy to personally chat about your unique story and how to match you with an RT therapist.

Seasonal Attunement Workshops (Equinox/Solstice)
This is a quarterly offering to enhance mental health. Co-led with Sav Raynor-Lese, LMFTA. Attuning to the seasons and ancestral practice to increase regulation, intuition, connection and resonance. This is a non-clinical offering that can be taken as a single offering or group of 4. Workshop includes elements of Ayurveda, meditation, yin yoga, and creative intention setting activities.
