This work is not just my profession; it is one of my deepest passions. Long before becoming a therapist, I was fascinated by what helps relationships become places where people feel loved, valued, safe, and able to grow. I have spent years exploring what allows some relationships to grow stronger through adversity while others slowly drift apart. Today, that passion shapes both my clinical work and my doctoral studies at NC State, where I focus on relationship repair, trust, accountability, and the processes that help people heal after relational injury.

I work primarily with couples navigating conflict, disconnection, betrayal, life transitions, and the challenges that naturally arise when two imperfect people build a life together. My heart is for couples who want more than coexistence. They want to feel known, loved, understood, and emotionally safe with one another.

With 16 years of marriage and five children, I bring both professional training and real-life understanding to my work. While personal experience never replaces clinical expertise, it deepens my respect for the courage it takes to keep showing up, repair after hurt, and build a relationship that is stronger, more connected, and more resilient.
